The closed beta for Mortal Online 2 is launching on Steam next month on September 6. Here are the details you need to know.
This closed beta will run through September 12 and is intended to stress test Mortal Online 2’s systems for server stability. Additionally, it’ll provide any new players and veterans alike a taste of the skill-based PvP combat for which Mortal Online has come to be known.
Throughout the closed beta, the team is running a screengrab competition. The winner of this competition will receive a key for the full games including Mortal Online and Mortal Online 2.
Additionally, throughout the stream, studio founder Henrik Nyström will be streaming regularly. This will be your chance to get your questions into Henrik as he will be answering questions, talking through updates, patches and giving the latest news on the plans for Mortal Online 2.
As to what you can expect to play during the closed beta, the entire world Nave is open. It’s described as an open PvP and PvE space, and at over 6 times the playable area of the original Mortal Online. You’ll have to rely on your skills as you face off against the world and other players in skill-based real-time combat. You can sign up for the closed beta here.
