Halo Infinite finally has an official release date. As announced during Geoff Keighley’s Gamescom Opening Night Live, the next iteration in the Halo franchise will be hitting Xbox and PC this year, coming Devember 8th.
Both the campaign and multiplayer modes will be launching day one, though 343 Industries has stated that campaign co-op and the Forge map editor will be added after launch. Halo Infinite was delayed out of last year’s Xbox Series S|X launch window as the team needed more time to add the polish and bring the iconic FPS to the quality players expect from a Halo game, especially after the critiques levied at it following its first gameplay reveal.
Halo Infinite showed off a glimpse at its multiplayer mode today in a new trailer giving players a first look at the cinematic intro for season one of its multiplayer mode. The trailer introduces Commander Agryna and shows her journey in a small glimpse, as well as what 343 states is a look into “what it truly means to be a Spartan.”
